what's goin on ladies and gents...i recently bought a 2002 mazda protege 5 and i was wondering if any one would be able to tell me what the bolt pattern is for the rims?

It's 5x114.3. The stock wheel offset is I think +52mm. In the wheels/tires/suspension forum on here there is a fitment recipe thread for wheels

thx buddi...ye i just bought the P5 last week...and to be straight up with you i have the education of a 5 years old regarding ma own car...hahaha...im from mississauga, ontario....im lookn forward on getting black polish rims (car is yellow by the way) at the moment i want to consume all the info i can get about the tire sizes and rims ... any suggestions?

I've been to Mississauga a few times :)

As for learning about tire and rim stuff, I definitely recommend reading up in this section of the forum: http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=139

If you have any specific question feel free to ask, I've been around here a while so I know a few things :)

Don't feel bad about not knowing much about your car.. I can remember when I first came on here and it was a rush of information :)

thank you very much buddi....speaking of which i need winter tires because its impossible to drive in the snow without me skidding ... would i be able to to get just the winter tires and leave the rims on?

I actually run some Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50 tires on my original Protege5 wheels. They aren't too expensive in the 195/55/16 size (a little bit taller than the original car's tires, but they fit just fine and our stock size is hard to find).

good to know... at the moment i still have the dealership tires on, but their gonna be changed, they're 205/45/16
