How do you guys like the vehicle I own a mazdaspeed protege. My girl is looking at a cx-7 so I figured I would ask the experts any complaints likes dislikes share whatever thanks in advance.

I love my 2007. Drives and handles beautiful and outstanding brakes. I have the touring model and find it very comfortable. I wish the visibility was better for parking (rear view is not good) and the requirement for 91 octane cost about 20 cents more per gallon. I average 21-22 mpg in suburban easy driving IF I don't use the power too much. I feel there is no better vehicle for the size and price. The closet is the Acura RDX and BMW at about $12,000 more and the CX7 is better in many respects. JMO ED

Thanks man. Both her and I are really sold on the CX7 it was by far the best car we test drove yesterday. It makes me want to trade my mazdaspeed protege in for one and give the dealer a wet dream when I say I want two of those!!!

Get your ducks in order jboost and do your homework via www.edmunds.com. Drive a hard bargin as all car prices are REALY negosable. I got mine at 0.9% financing and paid invoice +$100 +tax. That was in June of 07 and you can do much better than that now. Don't be afrade to walk away from their first off if anything over invoice. They get 2.5% holdback from the manufacture just for selling it.

she is looking at a copper red mica 09' i beleive sport it doesn't have leather the only feature the car doesn't have is navigation. They are offering the car at $200 below invoice.

word up, i'm trading in my MSP any day now for a CX7. I'm gonna take a nice hit on the MSP, but there are plenty of 07's with low miles for around 15k where I am.

If you can find '08's for a deal you'll take, I'd recommend it. 08's can use 87, and the 07's had tons of TSB's. And if you don't need AWD, then don't get it. FWD has better MPG and a bit quicker.

everyone here is telling you how good cx7's are...I work for a dealer, i see them with problems everyday...they eat tires they have alignment problems, if you have no warranty parts are expensive, if it didn't already have the updated turbo put in you will have smoking probs eventually. the transfer case seals leak very expensive to fix. Alot of CEL Issues. Leaking timing covers, VVT actuator noises.

I'm telling you, if the car is anywhere near 50k miles you will have major probs down the road, they don't hold together, all types of noises in the suspension etc.

And these aren't things that happen on a few, we see the same probs every day on every single one.

And the MPG is horrible for a 4cyl...because the engine is too small for the car. The trans is weak also

Boo!... Do you see all years or does one year vehicle stand out?
and weak transmission... can you share your experiences.... I've added a HUGE load to my tranny for about 6 months now, and I haven't noticed anything yet....

It take a big man to admit that my car is faster than yours... :D

... it takes small man to realize after I kick your ass, how small you really are.... I love the look of your front end in my rear view mirror!!.. every time baby.. :)
