Question for people with aftermerket plug wires

I don't see the point of that kit. why attach wires when none are needed. all you are doing is forcing the ignition system to push the electrical current over a longer distance thereby increasing resistance and strain on the system. they put the coils over top the spark plugs because it is the most direct route for the charge to get to the plugs. the only thing might be for looks but i feel it gives the engine an outdated look to it. (scratch) (scratch) (freak) (headshake

what site did you get your Nology Hotwires from? just to be clear on this, the protege engine setup is the same as a pr5 right? cuz i have a 02 and am thinking of getting these wires and only finding the Nology Hotwires for a protege, not a pr5. this is the site that i am looking at Nology Hotwires

thanks.

Nology wires have a capacitor that build up a charge for a big spark. That'll deff compensate for any small coil to plug distance probs.
