Question about the tranny on cx-7

I was reading that the stock 6 speed tranny in the cx-7 is the same as the mazda 6 ..So I was wondering would it be a direct swap say I wanna swap a 6 speed manual tranny from a mazda 6 in a cx-7?Also I read that the the stock tranny can only hold 325 torque before it breaks apart and being that it's around 255 or so was wondering is their a different tranny that can go in the cx-7 if I decided to put a much bigger turbo inside it?I own a wrx right now and looking for a 2nd vehicle right now and figure this suv would be a possible choice or the grand cheokee srt-8=-)Thanx for any help(group)

The combined engine/transaxle ECU control module would go out of its mind trying to control the engine in combination with a non existent automatic transaxle.

not worth the headache and cost to do all that work.

youll need more than just a transmission swap. just because the transmissions are teh same, doesnt mean the mounting points are, or if theres even room to mount a clutch pedal

not to mention youll need a different ecu setup, which will involve removing the transmission control unit, and the wiring associated with it.

your looking at alot of custom work. not really woth it if your just looking for a second vehicle.
