I have my JoeP MBC all the way open(loose), but the car still boost to 9-10psi. I replaced the vac hose from the wastegate with a new/bigger diameter vac hose. But other then that, I think I did the install right.

Any ideas what I did wrong?

Huh, from what I understand, several people have had issues with not being able to boost over 10 psi. Some have said this only happened after they got flashed. I never followed up on the threads to see if they were able to get over 10 psi though...at least you're not one of the people who can't get above stock boost!

maybe...

i had a joep and accidently boosted 15psi while setting it, so i know MINE went up over 10psi. if it is faulty i suggest going with a boostsciences controller.

But if the screw is all the way out, shouldn't the car boost at stock level? Cuz whats happening is the screw is all the way out, and the car is still boosting 9-10psi

You might need a weaker spring for your controller. We offer 3 different springs with the BoostSciences Accuboost for this very reason. It makes it a lot easier when the end user can tune their controller for their specific car.

His problem is the opposite of that, he can't boost BELOW 9-10psi.

Try this...

Take your controller off the car and blow into the inlet of it. Turn the adjustment knob while you are blowing through it, and see if you can find a point in the adjustment where it is easier to blow through. Sometimes the spring inside the controller needs a little bit of pretension, and having the adjustment screw at it's loosest setting will actually increase your boost a little bit. So basically just see if tightening it a little makes it easier to blow through.;)

Yea thanx.. thats what i tired...and i found the point where i can blow through. =T maybe there is something stuck in the vac hose jeeze... weird
