Purchasing a CX-9

Mazda has no financial any longer it is Chase Bank and whatever they would give when being recommended by Mazda, they would give you directly.

Mazda for a while now has been giving rebates plus low interest rates.

Current offers (CX9):
0.0% APR for up to 36 MONTHS PLUS $1,500 Customer Cash (25)
2.9% APR for up to 60 MONTHS PLUS $1,500 Customer Cash (26)

I am so miffed about how people are supposedly getting these so called deals when there is not even a MFR to dealer incentive on the CX9s right now. Without that incentive, you are relegated to tissue and possibly hold back being deducted if the car was on the lot for less then 30 days. Beyond that and the interest rate and rebate, I just don't see it.

I would love to know this is true but need proof since this is the internet. (beer)

Does it really matter that much to you if someone padded the figure or boasted how much savings they actually obtained?? Life is too short to worry about these things.

Yeah it does matter and sorry for thinking of people who are possibly getting bogus information. (cabpatch)

There are multiple people who are reporting these prices so either it is a conspiracy against you or it is true. You decide.

Richardd, it sounds like they're offering you a deal similar to what I got at this time last year (July 5) so it sounds good.

Just keep my experience in mind...I bought the Touring July 5th 08 and by Oct I could have had the GT for the same price (even the same color).

Hey then at least one should put up,, don't ya think?

Ask how many people own their vehicle (financing to own) but in reality, more then 70 percent (easily) are leasing. Seems people like to feel part of the group or in this case with pricing, feel like the center point and enjoy the adulations given when people see what they supposedly pay.

I will call out people who say they get crazy pricing when there are no means as to how until someone shows proof.

This is getting interesting.
On the phone for a Sport-AWD JCP Crystal White Pearl 1MC Moonroof Bose 1RV Back Up Camera PW6 Power Driver Seat RCK Roof Rails, MSRP-35,535 Invoice-32,651.
Dealers are actually stating 4K Mfg/Dealer-Cash off from invoice. Getting a first offer of 27,890 + TTL + 399 Dealer + Free Mudguards, and I still havent mentioned trade-in yet.
Altogether 7,645 off MSRP (4,761 off Invoice).

I actually dont like the White, but its the wife/kids first choice (its their car).
And as you guys know, there is a 09 new car purchase Obama sales tax incentive/deduction on 09 federal tax return, and is also allowed on State return (in my State).

While I can't speak for today's prices I can speak for last year around this time. The prices being posted are consistent with what I saw last year. The auto market is worse than last year so I am going to believe the posters.

Who really wants to go through the trouble of copying their bill of sale, redacting their personal info, scanning it in, posting it on an image hosting site and then linking it here?

I guess the dealer is not making any money on GG's deal. giving an extra 761 off invoice plus giving away all their dealer incentive means nothing for the dealer except the rip off $399 Dealer fee. I am assuming this is for an 09 not an 08 otherwise I can see it being possible for an 08

Too good to be true for me but hey, good luck!

And from what I know there is no current 4k Mfg to Dealer Incentive right now for 09 CX9s at least nothing being advertised in the trade circles

9 Actually its 861 off invoice with the free mudguards (I believe mudguards are $100 Invoice). Maybe I should tell them I owe 861 back. 399 Doc Fee I find it acceptable, and Im not crying. And yes, it's an 09 with 6 miles on the clock.

Im not sure why you keep saying there are no Dealer Cash Incentives 06-02 through 06-30, there is 4K Mfr/Dealer-Cash. In fact, I found this out when the dealer told me (then I checked the web).

Besides
We all know MSRP is a hard number (where dealer/customer) starts from. But what is Invoice, this is still an estimate (close at best). What are the real numbers - end of month sales, from multi-brand high-volume dealers who knows, they get briefed every morning before they open the doors. Profit is also by volume, not necessarily individual sales. So Dealing-Doug makes no money on Cust-A, I highly doubt the same on Cust B-Z.

I say its about time for a market correction, how long have we been paying no-less than Invoice.

I was unaware of the 4k off and that is because during the May period (until 6/1) there was no incentive like that just special financing and $1500 rebate.

I am green with envy that you got it and am very happy for you!!!! (cabpatch)

I may just go buy another so I can say I got the 4k as well (cabpatch)

Well, Im down to between the Highlander and the CX. At Invoice the CX-9 is a great bang for buck, most definitely better when lower.
Heck, I got a comparable HL down to 27,988 When was the last time you-will-pay-what-we-ask Toyota did that.

Yeah, that's one of the many reasons I went with the CX-9. There were absolutely no incentives on the Highlander, so you get, in my opinion, a much better vehicle at $8000-10000 less than an equally equipped Highlander. Plus you look coller driving the Mazda. :)

The Toyota HL option packaging is crazy too. At 27,988 I still dont have must-have power seats. Yes its avail on the Base, but by that time I might as well get the next level Sport. Then, of course the Sport has its own fluff/icing I don't need. Dont forget even with the Sport, carpet mats are still optional when will it end.

Whats even funnier
Im still comparing it to the CX-9, which has a more responsive steering and split-seat 3rd row. Yeah, but you get a Toyota instead Oh brother, what the hell do I look like.
