Purchasing a CX-9

Hi All,

Just purchased a new '09 CX-9 GTA with moonroof, nav /cam/bose package for 32k with rebate and dealer kick in. We missed the infamous $500 coupon from Mazda for preferred customer status but am happy with the deal and after only a couple hundred miles we love it so far.

Anyone buy all weather mats yet or is there a thread on it already? We need to get these soon with two kids and a dog!

Something about DVD player in the car. You are a bad parent for letting your kids watch video.

Complain about something in the CX-9? You didn't do enough research before you buy.

Get the DigitalFit from Weathertech for the fronts. OEM Mazda for row 2 and 3 (only choice for exact fit coz' of the rails). Weathertech 2 piece cargo liner.

Will run you about $300 IIRC.

Perfect....thanks for the tips. Not a big fan of rubber mats but its better than carpet in Wisconsin winters.

Ditto on the weathertech digitalfits. I don't even notice them anymore because they are so well molded to the floor shape. I bought the husky liner for the cargo area and highly recommend it. It's less expensive than the weathertech. It covers everything behind the 2nd seat so if you use the 3rd seat often the weathertech might be a better option.

Someone reported that the new Weathertech cargo liner is no longer 2 piece. Not sure if it is true or not.

2 piece works out good for me as we have to use the 3rd row often.

1st post...
Picked up a Crystal White 09 Touring FWD with Moonroof/Bose for $27.1K +ttl on Sat. So far like it a lot. Had a 05 Mazda 3s prior with good luck with it. This is in SoCal.
