check your warrenty information through any car company. i have worked for volkswagon, honda and toyota dealerships and what i have learned is that SEAT a german car company is the only company that will void a warrenty for anything added to the car that wasnt purchased with the car. aka meaning. if you want to add an exhaust to your P5, you can do it as long as you use your stock catalytic convertor.

the parts guy can bite my ass! how is he going to tell me that adding an exhaust will void anything? that's like saying changing your valve stem caps to chrome will void your warranty. tell him to go suck on my big toe. changing the exhaust does nothing but void your stock pipe's warranty.

you're not going to void any warranty by changing your exhaust. go for it.

I added it after. I got the car in Sept 03 and didn't add that exhaust until like 2 months ago.. actually I couldn't get it off myself because of rust and such so I had to take it to Merchants to torch off the bolts. Cost like $85 but since I only paid $100 for it.. I didn't really mind so much..

Is it louder with this exhaust when you are cruising 80 mph?

$350 is steep.. I'd check around on the forum and see if anyone has one they are selling.. Yep, it is louder when cruising at 80 mph..

whoa, $350 for the mazdaspeed sport one?? dont pay that....they have it for 191.00, no bids so far on ebay (+15 shipping)

im debating if i should buy that or save up for the RB...i think i'm gonna save though

yeah dude... you're getting the shaft. at $350 canadian even, that's over $250 american. see if anyone in the great white north has one for sale. either that or go to a different dealer!

When I bought my P5 last march I remember reading the accesories brochure and it listed the sport muffler for around $350.
