Laser Blue MSP #2733_sold
This is an update from this link > http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=76824 <

~Here are the updated grills. I've painted them laser blue, they match well with the car's color so It's not so flashy when left unpainted. Check it out, tell me what you think. Thanks for your help everyone from the first thread.

Nicely done.(yes) Did you make the inserts? If so where did you get the materials? I tried using gutter guards, but it proved to be to much of a pain in the ass! I tore up my hands in the process and it wasn't long enough so I ended up painting mine. (drunk)

RIP to the bugs!

sorry if i missed it, but what's up with the bottom grille? it doesn't go all the way up? i likie though!!!

lookin nice but I'm with Bazooka Joe, what up with the bottom grille not going up all the way? Hope you get a how-to on this for those of us that wanna do this on our own.

I will be posting a how to soon. Also with an option of buying a set from me. This will take time, due to all of them being hand made. They're a perfect fit, except the top corners of the bottom grill aren't. This is cause the curvature of the bumper, and too much of a pain to due. This is not noticeable while standing over or far away. I will let everyone know more later. Thanks for the compliments and any how to improove this. Thanks again.

~ Grills are paintable to any color.

not a fan of the silver mesh, but the quality appears to be very good......nice work.

since we are talkin grills .. I have an idea and wouldn't mind some input or maybe some photoshop help ...

I'm thinkin of buying a new set of lower grills, drimmel out the plastic backing on the far sides and insert some smaler round piaa's on the sides .... anyone have an idea of how it might look?? I don't want to go mesh, but I also don't care for the black plastic backing. I figure if I use factory grills, there would be no prob what-so-ever on fit.

it's got to fill the whole opening..(huh) .can't have it not go all the way to the top of the grille.....(no)

Did u "pop" the Mazda emblem off to get it to fit the entire top? That is where I ran in to trouble. I did insertst that went up to one side and one for the other. It didn't turn out too good. :(

I would be interested in the big one. I already have the AutoExe replica grill insert, and I have the fog light kit in the corners. I would like a black or titanium mesh grill for the big opening. Would it still fit if I get a FMIC? I may just keep it open when I get that, but we are talking a year or so into the future now...

Nice craftsmenship! Looks great i'm starting on my grill this weekend do you have any pointers or helpful hints. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks.

You said you could make one for any car? How long do you think I'd be out of the grill? and how much we talking about?

Yo man, props onthat s***! I did the exact same thing to my P5 when I first got it like 2 years ago. It's SO much different looking now, but have a look at my old school pics to see how it was. I used gutter guard as well.
