Having issues with the dealer (ie. damn cheap ass windshield). Try filing a complaint at www.nhtsa.dot.gov/. Not a guaranteed fix but if enough of us complain, MAZDA may actually be held liable for some of this crap and be forced to make our cars right. Personaly I've had enough dealer bulls*** as I care to take. I'll rest when my cars worth what I paid for it. Until then....MAZDA.....(fu)

Someone having problems with their car eh?? I think I sensed resentment in that post.

Joe Myers...Houston TX...they were damn friendly all the way up to when I handed them my money. After that, sorry we cant help you...you want things for free.....(dunno)

Seems a grain of sand fell from the sky and destroyed my windshield......the dealer said see that microscopic chip.....thats what caused your 3 ft long crack.
My prelude windshield took a beating and never needed to be replaced, just repaired. same with the other five cars i've owned.

Dealer isn't buying into the stress crack.....they did the bulls*** ball-point pen deal and said see, something hit right here. I cant say something didnt, but hell, the mark they point to is the size of a needle point. If something that small did so much damage something isnt right with the glass quality.

(scratch) give me a quality windshield, a good flash, and respectable dealer support and i'll be a happy camper. Throw in some mazda approved aftermarkets and i'll never say another word.

Not all dealerships are crummy. The guy who I do business with just talked to me about the new engine management on his MP3 last time I was in:)

If you signed an arbitration contract and you've got a minor repair in the neighborhood of $1000 or less and you know they're BSing, then ask for arbitration. The dealership then has to pay for a lawyer for you, their lawyer and board of arbitrators. That always ends up costing more than the repair.

Hey Split6 try Jeff Haas Mazda on I-10. That's where I bought mine from and that's where I take it to get all the oil changes and warranty stuff done. I never get hassled, in fact when I had it in for engine surging(hesitation?) a while back I got a call from the Service Writer that they wanted to know if it was ok for them to keep the car overnight. He said that the technician noticed that the rotors had rust on them and they wanted to paint them first thing the next morning since it was raining that day and the paint wouldn't take very well when it's wet outside. I was like hell yeah you can keep it till tomorrow! Just ask for Carlos Guzman, he's the Service Writer I usually deal with.
