problem with my msp

I have broken in my car so I decided to see how much power the car actually has. I pushed the SRC button on the stereo and the radio turned off and when I was testing out the speed, the head unit just flipped into the off position just like how it is when the car is turned off. Now the head unit won't flip over when it's on so I have no music. Does anyone know how to reactivate the stereo?

The car has decent power and enough power to get you into trouble. It feels like a mid 15 sec car. Turbo spool is loud. The handling has its own world.

the car actually is quicker if you do mid throttle in order for the turbo to start spooling and then do full throttle when the turbo is spooling, this way you will have full psi to lift off.

s***, i remember this happened to Limited Edition when he first got his car...but i dont remember how he figured it out...

well i am of no use :(

actually,i went and searched for it. here you go:

Btw, did any of you MSP owners get a headache, not knowing how to open the headdeck after pushing "SRC" on your deck before leaving your car? I couldn't open it up again for like 15 minutes and it seemed like a huge joke to me..
HOw on earth do you flip this ??
i pressed "SRC" on the remote and NOTHING!
key is in it's correct position..But no FLIP!??
HELLO?
how do i get it to flipp????
Then...
a simple push to the upper left corner..
TADA!

BIG SMILE ON MY FACE!!!

Yep, upper left always flips over a Kenwood.
If you had put this in the audio section I might have been able to help sooner. Sorry for the down time but I was out of town, Just so you know the SRC button is source and when held for a few seconds should turn off the radio.

Not necessarily true... I have one of the older Kenwood MASK units and the bottom right corner flips over the face. But on the one in the MSP it is the upper left corner.

Everone I have used within 2 years has been upper left. I didn't sell them before that.
How old is your unit?

Thanks for all your help. Before reading about the pushing the upper left hand corner of the head unit, I already disconnected the negative chamber of the battery. I reconnected it and the head unit worked but the car could not ignite when the clutch was applied. I found out that you have to lock the car and unlock it with the remote or the key, then the car finally could ignite. The radio did reset itself and you have to select the settings again. Thanks for all your help because the car is running normal now. The turbo spool is really loud considering it is only boosting a claim of 6.9 psi. You can feel it though. Definately a low to mid 15 sec car. For those who are still waiting, it is worth the wait. Since people have been waiting for so long, it is pointless to back down if not neccessary.
