This Excuses Douchbag antics?
That should be posted in hopes of helping all Protege owners, not just the ones on HIS board. Not to mention HE DIDN"T INVENT THIS SYSTEM. Its not like he can copywrite information found else where. He is not the Mazda Engineer that designed it or the guy that wrote the service manual so he is just a reuser himself, even if it is his own words.
Take the stickies I put up in the car audio forum, I wouldn't care if they copied and made there own stickies over on the other boards. Its not like I personaly removed every models protege door panel and discovered the speaker sizes for myself. I simply did a little research, I deserve no credit for the info and can't tell other how to use it!
1st MP3 in NH said:He's an asshole for trying to regulate how people share information with one another. I researched through different websites for over 5 hours and called numerous people making my Stickies, but I did it becuase I love audio and so everyone could learn from it not for a thank you.
If it was such an enormous hassle then why did you bother doing it, for a thank you?
What kind of pussy logic is this, do something to be helpful or becuase you want to not becuase you want thanks.
As for no one thanking you at all. With the attention I pay the members in the audio forum I get thanked all the time.
Did you ever stay up till 4 am helping someone on AIM even though you had to be at work for 9! I did.
Did you ever talk to a member for an hour on the phone only 2 hours after he asked to talk to you.
Maybe you need to dump the protegeclub board if they are that un greatful. Here you get thanked for just saying checking in on peoples posts if you have something decent to say.

I'm mostly pissed b/c I didn't get any donations at ALL. The links for them were on my site for 6+ months. I got 0.00 dollars. I'm talking over 100 hours of web design and research to get that s*** online, that and about $108 for web hosting, and over $50 in research material I purchased and scanned.
all for NOTHING (imo). Sure it helped people but if they don't appreciate it, **** them.

Alright, first off, to answer the question, to tie off the VICS you can zip-tie the butterflies open...That way you won't get the check engine light and you don't have to wrooy about un-plugging things
Second of all, what the hell is everyone's problem with Edwin here?
It is common coutersy to site your sources. In journalism it is demanded that you site your sources. If that source has certain rules, then you follow those rules. If that means there are copy right laws, then you damn well better follow them. Regardless if the information is considered comon info. If you quote what is exactly posted somewhere else, you better site your source.
Don't jump knee deep in Edwin's trash because he has rules for the info posted on his website that is not associated in any way shape or form with any other site.
And so what if he says "read the manual"...Is it that hard to look something up? It is a hell of a lot easier to sit down with the manual and look something up than to go through all the trouble to get on-line, log into the forum and then read twenty some-odd posts just to get one little piece of info...

The very idea of sighting sources on an internet forum is obscure at best. I have no patientce or tolerance for people that demand english teacher sytle bulls*** in an open information forums. ITS POINTLESS. Especialy on a third hand reference. If anything they should have posted the original source of the info, ie the name of the manual and the page it was on, which website rewrote it.
As for read the manual. How about shut the hell up unless your going to be helpful. As a mod you have no idea why someone is posting what they are. Maybe they legitimately had an issue and desired your help. POst like Do a search or read the manual are just basicly calling someone an idiot. If you don't want to help DON"T POST ANYTHING.

Without siting sources on ANY forum, it looks as if you suddenly came up with the information form your own mind, which is preposterous at best in most cases. If you get from somewhere, site the damn source. Is it really that hard?
StuttersC said:
It isn't demanding "english teacher style bulls***," it is asking for common ******* courtesy to show that you didn't suddenly think something up and post it. If it is that hard to site a source, then why post the info to begin with?

And quite frankly, it is helpful to read the manual because then you might be able to help yourself! Giving someone the tools the help themselves isn't treating them like an idiot, nor is it calling them one. yes, sometimes questions are legit, but sometimes, they can be answered easily by telling them where the info is...

No, just uneccisary and relitively useless. Not ot mention this wasn't the issue, the issue was that he told someon in what manner they may share information :wtf:
THis isn't his rules to make, maybe on Protegenazi.com it is but not on the rest of the net.
Are you saying you always sight your reference? Of coarse you don't know one does. And the fact of wanting credit for thrid hand info is rediculous. Actauly making a point to scold someone for not fallowing pretend rules isn't asking for common courtes its :bs:.
Telling someone the info they desire is in the manual and kindly directing them to the appropriate page is helpful. Telling someone to just read the manual is being a royal dick!

perhaps you didn't see the big red text there saying "granted for web
