Oh lordy, I need to remind myself not to take so many pics... The lazies are catching up with me, and uploading and posting seems overwhelming... Pathetic, I know.
I'm not sure what I've posted, and what I got distracted from, between the time I uploaded, and the time I should have posted, so hopefully too many aren't repeats.
New bushing and bracket from Energy Suspension (still need to make the brackets, grrr)
OBD1 harness from a 93 PGT (I believe) from my buddy Evan, left over from his swap
UDP I got, also from Evan, for a very good price. He was running it on his KL and two of the bolt heads snapped off, even though he'd had them welded on. He's only taking his motor to 7k, so I think some stronger bolts are definitely in order before they see 8k by my hand. I plan to get the machine shop to tap out the holes and put some stronger screws in so they don't break again. It's a stupid design that was revised in the v2 of the product, but that ones's over 800$, from what I've heard. (ie. not happening)
Just snapped right off, obviously can't withstand the power of a KL!!!!!!! ARRGHHH!
Grinding off the rest of the old sway bar mounts from the sub frame
Bushings (machined on left, wrong size TWM sent on right), the job that the shop did isn't "as" smooth, but it was the right price, and I don't think it'll make much of a problem. I touched it up with some sand paper, and it didn't make much of a difference.
Ahh, that's more like it, instead of the 4.5mm that they used to be, which was far too wide to fit
Chamfered edge
Shifter and the bits it came with. I was not sure what they were for at first, but I figured it out!
The hole in the shifter is much larger than the shift lever
Insert "stopper"
Use included paddle thing to screw it in to the desired height
The ID (internal diameter) threads screw onto the shift lever, and the OD threads screw into the shifter itself
Adjusted to a height I like for now. It looks pretty unfinished, which I'm not really happy with, but it feels better than just having it sit right against the shift boot. Too bad they don't make the delrin-coated knobs in any other shape besides the stupid ball shape they have now...
Joy...
Awesome, my pathetic electric impact struggled on this nut for at least a minute (only torqued it to 80 ft/lbs...) and only proceeded to tear up the nut. Cannot wait until I have air power at my disposal!
That's a good deal more rubber total on the road vs the 6 wheels (FD's on right, 6's on left)
ARRRR AGGRESSIVE!
Time for fender flairs???
Money shot
