Previous Cars

Wow - my list of previous cars can be depressing. Anyway, a decent chronolgy goes like this:

1988 Chrysler LeBaron Convertible (wrecked it)
1988 Nissan Sentra (hated it)
1984 Camaro Z28 (POS that leaked water like a faucet - but loved it)
1984 Plymouth Voyager (owned for exactly 5 days before the timing belt snapped - like flushing money down a toilet :()
1989 Plymouth Grand Voyager - that had a frigging mind of it's own - work vehicle.
1979 Olds Cutlass Cruiser Wagon (with 1985 Trans-Am wheels & tires that rubbed like crazy - $300 work vehicle)
1984 Olds Cutlass Cruiser Wagon (another $300 work car)
1990 Plymouth Horizon (yet another $300 work car)
1993 Mazda Miata (zoom-zoom, baby! - still had the Horizon for work)
2002 Protege5 (and still zooooming - serves work and play!)

In between, I had this 1979 Camaro for almost 4 years:
camarofront.jpg

It was off the road nearly every winter, and I'd re-register it for summer fun. 305 V8, 4 speed stick! (pretty rare for these cars in that time - was like shifting a truck, but still fun), T-tops (no-leak originals), repainted original silver, new chrome just about everywhere, centerline knock-offs, fakie dual exhaust with 98 Bonneville cast oval tips, 1969 script "Camaro" badges, Kenwood CD & changer, MTX amp & JBL tube in the trunk, new interior carpet, door sills, Grant leather steering wheel, & new windshield. Car ran like a champ - would do 100 in third gear with another to grab. And, oh yeah - the license plates read "HIHOSLVA" (yep - that's where it comes from). *Sniff* - I still miss that car.

Before my pro5. I had a 2000 Hyundai Accent 1.5L . Except for the fact that I walked faster then it drove, It wasnt a bad car. ( I actually like the new Tiburon). The only thing went wrong was the back windshield wiper broke and NO AIR:mad: .I only changed the oil 3 times and she had 35,000 miles when I got rid of it.

'90 Suzuki Sidekick 5spd 4WD (1 year)

Not really in order..

1986 Pontiac 6000 LE - Auto (186k km): a yatch for me, was fun though, carburetored, V6, took it up to 240km/h racing a 240SX. Had lots of probs though so sold it.

1993 Mazda B2200 - 5 Speed (255k km): Last year made in Japan, I miss it. Took out Mazda MX-3's with the 6 in it, great toruque offline, went through and over everything with it, but I went through a tempo with it, and cause my passanger cracked the dash with his knee, insurance wrote it off..

1998 Dodge Neon - Auto (161k km): Blech.. Ok, why would they still make a 3 speed auto in the 90's, cause they were retarded. had ok handling, only nice features were variable wipers, and I didn't really need wipers over 130km/h. Car had all known neon problems, so traded it in.

2003 Mazda Protege5 - 5 Speed (so far 21k km): Bought it this summer (aug. 27) First New Car. Nice car, just a little lacking in the intermittent wipers (soon to be fixed) and power, but handles great.

I occasionally miss Auto, and it's only in really bad traffic, like when my normally 45 minute drive takes 2.5 hours
