Power Loss

I've been having a noticeable power loss lately, mostly in the lower range, but noticeable throughout the powerband. What could this be due to? Something I just thought of: I'm late for an oil change, about 2k mi. Don't say anything, I know. Could this be affecting my power?

Thanks Men,
-Frank

Definately get that oil changed. It's either that, your spark plugs or as mentioned above, the air filter.

Matt

Late oil change isn't gonna drain power like that. I mean, you need to change it but it's not going to suck the life out of your engine.

ya, if you had no oil you'd have a big prob, but late oil change will have no effect on power....

+1 a camry rolled into the garage i work at 62000 miles over due for an oil change (still had our sticker and filter on no joke) and it started and ran fine. but im sure that motor lost a lot of life on it

Filter's clean. I cleaned it out before I reset my ECU the last time. I'll give as much info as I can, like I should have done the first time out...

-about 65k mi.
-throttle response is down
-MAF has been cleaned, once, last year
-EGR has never been cleaned (haven't studied what it is, but I've seen it thrown around)
-O2 sensors have never been cleaned----btw, what would dirty sensors cause?
-I floor it almost every time out
-I use Shell V-Power to keep everything clean
-Spark plugs changed last year
-Orig. wires
-Orig. coils
-Modified exhaust
-Bashed-out secondary cat

That's all I can think of right now. Any ideas?

Would you describe this as "Bogging Down"

If so, Do you happen to have an A/F installed (He asked expecting the reply "No")

Mine did it for a short time, I noticed that my A/F went lean when it happened.

I reset my ECU by disconecting the Positive and holding the brakes for 20 seconds then attaching the Positive again. Has not returned.

I might be retarded... what's an A/F?

I figured that, but are you talking about a gauge? If so, no. I've reset the ECU a number of time within the last 4 months. Same s***, different day. You know how it goes. By the way, why would one install an A/F gauge? Seem like an expensive light show to me. Am I wrong?

He is turboed. Which means if he goes to lean it can mean he will be anew member of the Zoom-Zoom BOOM Club.

He's the original member.

The A/F Gauge that is installed in my car is not required for yours, however, if you had one, you would probably notice this Leaning Out that I speak of. It happens exactly the time of the loss.

I reset the car, drove it like a bastard for 1.5 tanks, and I still have the same problem. It's killing me.

Weakening fuel pump? Beginning of coils going out? Old plug wires? EGR would be idle related.
