ive done that ;)

jp, im just concerned about the injen not having strong support (making it an SRI) unless u make your own bracket.

later, where'd you put the sensor? i was thinking about just tapping a hole in the injen silicone coupler for it....

ahh, gorgot about that sensor. hmmm I might just go buy another coupler and use that instead of drilling into any of the injen parts

you did it after the maf? i thought it went in before the maf?... no issues with that?

I'm not sure if you can tell by this pic, but the filter actually goes into the fender.

lol.. ok

im gonna drill a hole like u did in the coupler. looks good. but mine will be before the maf, in between that and the filter.

Is it necessary to plug that sensor into the intake system?...Cause since i put the intake i just forgot about it and have it hangin around somewhere...

its an air temp sensor. It just reads the temp of the air in the intake, and adjusts for super hot or super cold temps. Just kinda stick it in front of the filter or something and you should be ok.

Put mine in the inner fender.

Same as above but heat wrapped

Nice...i liked ur setup...i might go the same way on wrapping the intake...looks pretty nice...

Does it make a difference if i put that sensor before or after the flow-meter?

However, the IAT sensor should not- be unplugged,
removed, or simply left dangling in the middle of the engine compartment. This can
cause Check Engine lights and/or decreased engine performance.

good info, mines been dangling, time to fab up something to get it in the right place. Filter on end of stock tube = sweet.

I bought a CAI from ebay, and decided it floods too much around here to feel safe with it, so I just tossed out the second half of the pipe. Painted it, and bought a K&N filter. (first pic) second pic is the IAT, I cut a little slit in the rubber coupler and pushed it in. done and done.
