lol srsly. that's my friends Fortune Veilside RX7. the emblems are Veilside emblems. straight JDM y0, and yes it's just like the RX7 in FnF Tokyo Drift.

he's not rich or crazy, but he's well off. he got a good deal on it. the car is also converted single turbo from twin, and a few other minor things

it was recently appraised for $88k. but is tryin to sell it for $60k.

All I gotta say is good luck selling it. I know if I had 60K, I wouldn't spend it on something like this. Not trying to bash Mazda's or your buddies car but seriously? I guess this just seems a little high for a car that old (regardless if the money was put into it or not). It's not even a "classic" car yet.

yeah man, he's got to realize the key rule of modding "value of the parts on the car doesn't equal value of the car" I don't know who appraised it at 88K (was it him? lol) but he'll have a heck of a time selling that car for 60K. Good luck to him though, if he does sell it everyone wins, someone gets a great car and someone else gets a ton more money than he should towards the next project, haha.
