Just joined, here's my car.

1982 Rx-7 GSL

It has recently got a full stainless custom fabricated exhaust and pacesetter headers (would've got racing beat, but this dude bought me free ones in exchange for help in a project, so whatever)

Picked this up a few weeks ago with 20k original miles. Currently waking it up from its slumber of old lady ownership. Been garaged its entire life. Planning to make it my fair weather daily driver with some light mods.

Awesome, seems like everyone is picking up a FB or FC these days...Now let's see those project threads! (thumb)

Nice FB!
I bought a '79 SA Limited Edition with 32,000 miles on it in January, No pic's of the car I bought the car and dropped it off at a friends house, I will be picking it up soon to do some maintenance and then get it on the road.

Nice! I thought long and hard about SA vs FB and decided I needed to have power steering, disc brakes and LSD. Basically if I bought a SA I would set myself further back than I wanted to be for daily driving and the occasional autox. I considered GSLSE too but didn't want to pay collector premium. I'll abuse this 12a for a while and when the time comes, I won't feel bad modding it.

I bought the LE for a investment / toy , I have a track an street SA that I use and abuse. its a tough little car.

That's what my REPU is for ;). Not that I ever plan to make money on it...but the truck gets the garage spot and this, unfortunately, will have to sleep outdoors.

I see I never posted in this thread. Here is my RX-7 from a long time ago, unfortunately she no longer looks this good. Plans are afoot for a restoration though.

I need to get a current pic of the FC. It's still not running but it looks pretty good. All this SA/FB talk is making me want one too.

COOL! Start a thread yet? Got more pics? :D

Thanks. Haven't started any work on it yet so no thread. Very few pictures, this one was taken with a 110 camera back when I was driving to my folks to store it after getting it back from the theft repair (New Jersey sucks, I had this car and a motorcycle stolen when I lived there). I scanned it which is why the quality is poor. The only recent (and digital) picture I have is in the garage and it's pretty sad. I'd rather wait until I get moving on her restoration. I have big plans for that though, widebody kit (I will be retaining the rear spoiler I have on it), fiberglass hood with a TII scoop molded in, four port 13B which will run a Dell'Orto DHLA 48 carb, rack and pinion steering conversion, FC four piston front and standard rear brakes, and I am going to look into putting an independent rear end in her.

I have not been taking a ton of photos of my restoration, but here's my engine bay as of now.

Grainy, nighttime garage photo of the FC as it sat last December. It doesn't really look any different except for now having black wheel center caps.

Not my picture but pretty much how it looks now. I still need to ship the car from NE.

Sorry for the picture size. I'm not aware of a resizing option in Google Photos.

From a car show this past September. Next year I'll have new wheels for her, for now she sleeps for the winter.
