Post Pics of your Mazda2 / Demio

The OEM ones are on japanparts.com, $700 each. They might come with the factory HID ballasts too, can't tell.

Thanks for the link man. There are beaucoup chassis parts for the 2 on that site. Some high dollar stuff but some of its not too bad.

It's not right that Mazda has nicer accessory wheels than they offer in the U.S. Have a look at these good looking 15" wheels from Mazda's U.K. site...

Yeah, I know. I will make some in 2 weeks when I get my winter tires. Then I will leave them on during the summer to minimize getting my elbow wet.

Mudflaps? We don't need no stinkin mudflaps!

As to how it got that dirty, track duty (yay fall pics!):

looks good in a dirty way. Im still scared of open track days being my DD and all. Whats your suspension again?

Niiice! Looks like the little 2s like to play. Autocross, track days, camping, shopping, and all while being neat daily drivers and getting decent gas mileage.
XCLR8TN, what track?

Keep on playing!

Fam: H&R springs and CS rear torsion bar

Dale: yes the 9", they look huge to me still haha

Joker: Nelson Ledges Roadcourse

I need to play with tire pressures more next time. I forgot my gauge :( Once the tires got pretty warm the rear end was very nervous and even stepped out twice on me. This caused me to not want to push it faster than 90 through the kink on the back straight... getting sideways with someone behind you at 60 in a tighter turn was enough for me, lol. I think once I got a few pointers on turn 13 I was running a 1:34. I think that's just an 'ok' time. I forget what my friend said he ran in his contour. It was faster than me obviously but he has decades more experience and kart experience :)

So youre running stock shocks with HR springs? How long? No issues? I was thinking I was going to have to spend 800 on konies If I was going to get those springs.

Yes stock shocks...that was my concern as well! I asked and no one here seemed to know for how long they'd handle lowering springs. I put them the H&R's on with 11,930 miles on the car. Right now I have a little over 18k and 2 track days on them, this last track day was on a bumpy track also. Oh and I drive like a maniac on the street BUT try and avoid potholes as much as possible.

It's a little under damped/bouncy over certain roads but all in all, I like them a lot. I had Mopar High rate and Koni yellows front/blacks rear on my 98 Neon and I thought it was a little bouncy... this is a little less bouncy. It's manageable for sure.

I rack up miles like it's no one's business so I'll try and keep you updated Fam. Usually I do 3k a month. I've had the car since May.

Awesome news. I drove 18k last year on my 08 mazda3 before trading it in...its all highway but roads around here arent the best either. Good to know a lower stance can be had for a couple hundred dollars and not 1000!

xclr8n you better post some track videos!...you have a youtube?

Haha I do (same as my username) but I didn't record this last track day. My computer can't handle editing vids so i don't bother. I recorded at ginger man with my iPhone I'll upload em this week :)

My local autocross region apparently plays forza4 and has their own club where cars can be shared with the club members so the same member that codrived my car and called it "ladybug" under the color when registering my car at an autox event recreated my car and gave it an actual ladybug paint theme...kinda humorous..should still fit the thread ;P
