okay so im extremely excited about getting the rx8's considering i currently own an 03 protege, and the fact im only 19, but im debating between an 02 wrx turbo / 130k on it, or an 05 rx8 with 65k?

the guy said its a salvage title but it was due to hail damage? can someone confirm that? meaning can hail damage make a salvage title? also i should be test driving it today and should be taking it to my mechanic to be checked out.

Hopefully ill be staying in the mazda family! but if i do get it what would you guys say should be my first mod? i was thinking just 6000k hids?

Not sure about the hail dmg. Must have been pretty bad. How much does he want for it? Read through both the threads in my sig before you go see him, and get the motor a compression test. As a mater of fact, take it to a Mazda dealership or experienced mechanic who is familliar with rotary engines for a thorough chack out before you buy it. Should only cost $100 and it will be well worth it. Since this is a salvage title, the guy you are buying it from most likely doesn't know anything about the history of the car. Be very careful. i would say you could find a better one local to you. Have you looked at the classified adds on RX8club?

thanks for the heads up! i was thinking of taking it just to the dealership and having it inspected its not to far away, aswell as i was reading threw your threads, very helpfull actually!! i asked the guy does he wait for it to warm up to drive it or shut it off, he said yes. as for a few other questions. and no i have not looked and the adds, its kinda a long story but short i NEED to have a car in 5 days. considering i have court 3 hours away.. f that! but ill be checking it out here in a few hours so well see. and thanks solidtrance. +1
