poor msp...

Too bad the motor is the only thing worth taking. Actually, the manifold is the only thing I'd be interested in.

for anybody interested...... if u want to repair the car it is not worth it!!!!! i have a 2002 protege es and the rear left quarter panel was the same plus the front left quarter panel was damaged(i got rear ended by a dumba$$ doing 70 who wasnt paying attention) anyway.....estimate was 14000$$$ dollars to repair...needless to say it was finally totaled and i went and bought an identical car 4 days later.....just a heads up that repairs cost alot less than getting a turbo!!!!!!

That car is not a 2003.5
2003.5 does not come with fogs and the raceheart rims are different also.
Still hurts look at that though. Only 294 miles on it.

OUCH

Also the Sparko pedals and shift knob didn't come in a 2003.5
Mazdaspeed put their stuff in it.
The spoilers are different and a ton of s***.

I just read it again and this person doesn't know what the **** they are talking about. GGeeeezzz

Vehicle Description

The 2003.5 MAZDASPEED Proteg is powered by a turbocharged, 2.0-liter, 16-valve, four-cylinder engine delivering 170 horsepower and 160 lb-ft of torque to 17-inch Custom Racing Hart wheels via a five-speed manual transmission with the help of a Tochigi Fuji limited slip differential.
The popular 450-watt AM/FM/CD/MP3 Kenwood Audio System with a liquid gel 3-D screen, glass-mounted antenna, and self-hiding/removable faceplate also remains standard on the new model. Its seven-speaker system powers four mid-bass, two tweeters and one 250-watt subwoofer housed in the rear package tray, adding major boom to the ZOOM-ZOOM

This car takes factory-tuned sport-compact performance to the extreme. A turbocharged engine, big wheels and low-profile tires, a taut suspension, aggressive styling and a great sound system. Production of the 2003.5 will increase from 1,750 to 2,750. The first 1,750 will be available in Titanium Grey Metallic or Blazing Yellow Mica.

This is bulls***

ouch...looks like someone got too much lift throttle over-steer...someone call Mazda with the VIN and see what production # it is.

What kind of crazy accident damages both rear quarter panels??

Getting rear ended at high speed will defintely destroy both rear quarter panels. That's what looks like happened since both 1/4's are smashed in similar patterns.

what do you mean the only thing worth anything?
Wheels, Seats, door panels, dash, gearbox, engine, stereo, glass, doors, hood, front fascia, axles, suspension, etc..

You guys who posted saying car isn't worth anything does not understand how somebody with decent body skills can buy and repair this car and make some money?
