Curious how many here are the primary driver of their Mazda5 or if this is the wife/partner's main vehicles and you are just the default care taker.

I use to drive the manual 08 daily but I now only drive it on the weekends, if even.

It's still my daily driver unless I need to take the truck for something. Have put 20k miles on it this year already.

Wife's daily driver, 09 Sport manual. I'm the caretaker/modifier. My dailies are the 08 Frontier and the 03 S2000. Oh and the CRX in my driveway that's not built yet...

My daily driver. Where are all the female 5 owners/drivers? Not enthusiasts?
We do have a female member who's riding on air bags and seems to compete in some kind of show. Anyhow, I don't think many women care much about cars other than for than A-B transportation purposes.

The results are interesting, definitely not what I expected. Keep them coming :)

It is my daily driver, seeing how my wife acts she doesn't car which car she drives, but 95% of the time chooses to drive the 2012 Mazda 3. I know why, it is still a lot newer than the 2010 5, and has a better ride and more goodies in it. She says it is our vehicles, but is always calling the 3, her car. Women! I like driving both, the 5 definitely has a quicker gas pedal and the MZR motor has more torque in the lower rpm's, but the 6 speed skyactiv transmission is a dream to operate. The transmission alone on the 3 makes me want to drive it. It is that good. Suspension is definitely more buttoned down too on the 2012 3.

I traded my Honda Pilot for it. From a driving perspective, there is no comparison. The Pilot was very boring to drive. Reliable as hell and it always got you there, but the 5 makes you remember why you enjoy driving in the first place. The 5 is all about the journey as opposed to just focusing on the destination!!!

Wife's DD. I take care of it, she has many other things to worry about (one being the small recognition products business run out of our home). Plus she's not a car person, knows what she likes, but could care less about a forum.

It is my daily driver and our long trip vehicle (4 kids). My wife drives our CX-5 generally.

Daily about 75% of the time. I drive a MKI vw or a W124 whenever I get the urge. Wife doesn't drive manual so I've drive every one of its miles.

So clich... but so true! :D

I honestly liking drive it a lot! Only short of a real RWD car b/c I can't rotate the rear end with the happy pedal.

The poll seem to be stabilizing at a 3:1 ratio. I though it was the other way around but we do have a lot of passerby’s who might skew the result if we counted their votes.

Up until now it's the wife's daily and the family outing vehicle. Likely in the future I will inherit it, and it will become my daily, and probably still the family outing vehicle.

I see I am no longer the only one here filling all the seats w/my own progeny. Full house was a TV show, but Full Car is my life.

Your not alone. Every other weekend my MZ5 is filled up with all six seats as well. My two older boys come to visit (Daddy time) and we are a full car. Only when we take long trips with luggage we opt for the CX-9 otherwise it's me and my wife up front, 7 month old and 4 year old in car seats in the center row, and 13 and 18 year old out back in the third row. And this is the main reason why I can't afford to lower my ride but that's a totally different story.
