Points #3 - Registration Open

Why? Just fill it a little extra @ the start of the day and you'll be fine. Wayne Autoxed his MP3 for a while and nothing ever happened to it

...i would hate to have my car stuck in ATL...or pay the towing back to columbus.

i just want to be on the safe side.

I raced mine w/o a baffled pan.

(just wanted to fit in (sad2))

the only person out of all of us who has blown up the protege at the auto-x was luke and that was running two quarts low all the rest of us run unbaffled oil pans and rly dont see the need for it unless you want the extra capacity or are doing some rly hardcore track racing

Registration's not open yet. 1 of the regulars will usually post up a new thread once it is.

I'm getting really antsy to get R-comps on the car.

I think this week I'm going to try to get my "new" wheels painted black. Is there an easy way to get the old crappy tires off there myself?

yeah get them here one day

EDIT: No brian thats wrong thats how you mount them

I actually saw this thing where they build 2 trucks to race across the antartic (think baja but on ice), and b/c they were only running like 5psi so the tires were grip, 1 eventually slipped off. I cant remember exactly why (it was a long time ago), but they used lighter fluid (and lit it) to rapidly increase the air pressure to get it to mount on the wheel properly lol

yeah its pretty common for backyard guys to do very helpful in mounting tires with alot of sidewall plys, very lo pro donk tires, or run flats

Funny, I saw the same thing. Lightly modified Land Cruisers IIRC.
