Pillar guage pods

I have an extra full replacement pillar from Autometer if anyone is interested in buying it, unpainted unused and uninstalled. Holds three gauges. pm me or email if interested

For the parking lights its the green with black stripe in gauge cluster or in the dimmer switch. If you want the dimmer to adjust it you might try the white blue stripe but im not sure if that dims it or not. For a/f it's the pink/blue stripe at the ecu under the black harness cover.

Thanks for the quick response. I couldn't find the T-fitting I needed, so my install has been a bit delayed...but hopefully soon.
I'm reading that it's more risky (for detonation) to turn boost up in the colder months...so now I'm not so sure about installing the MBC until spring.

why would it be risky? turbo cars run better in cold weather. you will hit fuel cut at a earlier psi due to a denser air charge. just run 9 psi and youll be safe.

yeah, it hit me an hour after I had posted that my comment was way off base... Mixed up fuel cut & detonation.

haha pillar pods are cool!

Pr5owner: Igdrasil said that an Autometer would be useless on our cars and therefore should rely on an EGT guage. I was gonna get the EGT but found out that damage could be done to the motor before the EGT would tell u something bad is happening so I was going to get the Greddy A/F guage. Well later I found out that Spoolin's Stage1 comes with an Autometer boost guage so if the Autometer A/F guage is working for u all I will go with what I originally planned

Pr5owner: Could u tell me what the 3 guages are. Obviously u have the A/F guage, & boost guage but what is the other one? Is it a fuel pressure guage?

get an a/f gauge that reads voltage like defi or greddy a/f. itll tell u more than a bunch of blinking lights would.

I know this should be easy, but I can't figure out how to take the f*n dash off. I don't think it's possible (don't want to) to squeeze under the dash to do the wiring. Any help on how to remove the lower portion of the dash would be appreciated.

At least the gauge is functional, minus the light....I was driving around last night with my interior lights on tearing up the neighborhood. Was very educational to see when the boost was up. I was surprised that I could get almost max boost with WOT at about 2500 rpm.

I've had a Autometer A/F gauge for a long time on my civic and had originaly bought it for my 96 protege that my wife totaled. No harm to the car and they work really good.

Lower dash is easy. To remove the part shaped like a U.
Pull each side of the U out just use ur hands and then itll fold down and then pull it off the hinge at the bottom.
