im about to get some guage pods for my pillar.. i dont want to tear anything up or break my stock pillar.. whats the best way to go about wiring the guages without messing up anything?!

it goes over the stock pillar. once you buy you will see how easy it is. and WELCOME TO THE BOARDS :)

Welcome yllowmsp35
Yet another yellow MSP :D

I have the autometer dual gauge pillar pod from jegs.com. It's only covers the pillar, not replace it. I just used double sided tape to hold it on. If I need to take it out, it's easy. Here are some pics.

I used the Autometer triple gauge pod from Jeg's. I took the factory A-pillar trim off, then installed the autometer pod. It made it real easy to install the wires and boost line. Plus, I left it the original black color. I used one trim screw to told the pod on. Works fine, looks good to me. No tape, no holes in the factory trim.

I work at the sonic in catoosa. 193rd street. Where do you live? I thought i was the only 2k3.5 out here. DAmn you! i ordered thepillar yesterday by the way.... i am looking forward to getting it and installing those bastids. i hope i do it right ( cros your fingers) drive by and see my car sometime, i work sat. morns 8-4 got 15% tint thats all so far.

I just got my Autometer boost gage and single pod and am attempting the install tomorrow. My pod slips over the existing A-pillar, so (stupid question) where are the wires I can tap into for the light?

For the parking lights its the green with black stripe in gauge cluster or in the dimmer switch. If you want the dimmer to adjust it you might try the white blue stripe but im not sure if that dims it or not. For a/f it's the pink/blue stripe at the ecu under the black harness cover.
