Hey thats no hiboost fmic! I dont like the way it looks without the mesh unless you cut those strips that are left behind.

btw, the mesh is only $30 from the dealership if you break it taking it out like my friend did lol ...I now have 2 broken bottom grilles b.c I took the new one out and broke a tab off that one too... Guess if you want it out make sure you do it when the bumper is off b.c you wont break it that way.

I have the same kit. I' love how it looks w/ o the grille but i'm hesitant on cutting the strips and tabs off. How would you put it back on of you wanted to after you cut those off???

i didn't cut out the 4 tabs on the corners, it looks like they are gone b.c i painted them black...the grill still snaps right back in and stays just fine without the 3 small strips.
