I cannot wait. I guess the dealership up in Portland, Oregon has a few of them. I told them that i am coming from Eugene, and i dont want to waste a trip if they dont have one with a 5 speed and moonroof available.

I am going to order the Projectors for the headlights hopefully thursday. hopefully they will be in by this weekend if i get them. Now it is time to make a couple of CDs. they all come with CD players, right? they play MP3s?
i had to sell my Canon EOS 20D..$1400..used it for the downpayment and for insurance. Oh well, i will buy another one in 3 weeks. (i couldnt wait three weeks for this car lol..it has been raining alot here in oregon anyways.

They won't play straight MP3s. You have to burn the tracks as WAVs. Some people have complained that the stock cd player won't read their burned cds but I haven't had a problem.

sweet, i have tons and tons of stuff on my computer..mp3s..i will just make an audio cd of them instead of data.
HIDs are going to get ordered.

first, congrat on your p5 purchase :)
but which projector are you getting??? those blacked out headlights? if you are getting one of those then you will need modify your bulb harnesses...
cause p5 uses H7 for low beam but those blacked out headlights are H4.

um no, those blackout headlights on ebay only use one light, and dual filament, whereas the stock looks like it uses a seperate high beam and a low beam light. or is it high beam only and low/high beam?

i was thinking of overnighting the Hella 90MM projectors. i will post a picture of them in a second. Then i was thinking the 4100K Hella D2S HID kit for $289 or so. cheaper then doing the projector and then HID for now..remember i have to buy the 20D AGAIN! :(

No problems with burned CD's either.

Now I've got an MP3 player b/c I got tired of changing CD's all the time.

ive burned cd's too and had no problem, but if somebody told me right there is a difference in what format you burn your cd in. If you want mp3 it is a compressed file and I tried this and they did not work, but a regular "burned" cd does work. Make sense?

yeah. when you burn MP3s, you "burn" them as a data file, instead of converting them to WAV or whatnot.

congrats on the car (2thumbs, u won't regret it, these r fun cars to drive

i have the ES that has the same stereo as the p5, i play burned cds in it all the time without problem

Congrats on your purchase. You mentioned it has been raining a lot there. Be sure if the car has the factory Dunflops, get rid of them. There are a billion threads withmembers who have spun out or have had traction problems with these tires. If it isonly raining up there, not snowing, I recommend the Yokohama AVS ES 100's. I got the 205-50-16's, and they work great in the rain.

yup. Mine works very well. I even use the 24x rw and it reads them fine. The skip protection is top notch as well. Can hit train tracks with no issues etc.
