very nice car man . u gotta love the RWD and the shifter is 100times better then ours cuz it doesnt have that linkage bulls***. enjoy it. btw imo itll look better drop with some 16s
Why would you put smaller wheels on it? Dropping it and putting smaller wheels on it makes no sense.

It makes perfect sense for a Miata. :) Lighter/ lower and torque-ier is all good.

Congrats, Justin! I'm sure you'll love that little car as much or even more than the MSP. I know I'm f-in stoked on mine. There's SO much aftermarket support for miatas, and track days will become like a whole new fun factor!

(gossip)pssst: Get a rollbar. NOW.

hell yeah Justin!!!!!
good choice!

awesome car.

way to bounce back :D

I *love* it. Why couldn't Mazda put a shifter like this in the Protege?

You like the shifting?? When I test drove it, the shifter felt rubbery, like the neon's. I didn't like that at all. What's different about it?

and it is significantly faster than a stock MSP. Significantly. The 1/4 mile numbers I've seen in reviews seem way too high...this feels like a mid-14 sec car.

Again, huh? I was surprised to find that it didn't feel any faster than the MSP at all, and you have to shift a lot more to get there.

Not that I didn't like the car, it's awesome, and exactly what the miata needed. The reasons I wouldn't trade aren't performance related, but that it's too small and has terrible blind spots and is too spendy for me. I just find it odd that you mention loving the two biggest dissapointments I had when testdriving one.

Belated, but -- CONGRATS! Car looks awesome. Love the wheels. Mmm.

Can't wait t'see it over the summer at one of the MTMA meets. :D

nice bro. I like the miata but dont know if i'd ever get one. too small and girly(please dont flame, I kinda like them). I'd be afraid to get run over by some lady in an SUV. Your first mod should be a big airhorn. lol It'll look sic with a little lip kit for the car. Hope you enjoy it man

congrat on the new ride..be careful when driving this baby when it rains and snows..those rwd cars love to slide out on ya.

just a dumb question. is the MSM a one year only thing, or will they continue to make it? I sure hope they do, it'd be freakin sweet...then maybe one day I'll own one....I've always kinda wanted a nice little roadster

well is a whole different beast than the msp it has lower compression and a journal bearing turbo so you have to wait until top end for it to spool up and with the close ratio 6 speed if you take it to redline you stay in that nice powerband every shift

Justin, thats an awsome car!!! I was going to get it, but I got a sweet deal on the RSX. Im glad to see ya in one piece after the wreck.

Now that you have some strong ass internals, boost the b**** higher!!!

Plenty. It's a BP engine. There's a few 300+HP Miatas in the Bay Area with stock internals. :)

They also made 'em in '05, but the plant they build them in burned down. An '05 MSM is a rarity, and the '06 is a completely new car.

I sat in a red one when the first came out but never test drove it:( Over all it's a bad-ass looking car(2thumbs). I was intrigued by the little front mounted stock intercooler:)
