Alright I have put some Toucan hyper whites in my car and for the second time they burn out in 2 months time. Now I want to try PIAA but I heard they are not any better.

Anyone got feedback on those? I want to change my headlights and fogs but $200 for lights bubls I dunno....

TIA

Are you touching the bulbs when you put them in. I'm talking about the actual glass part. If you are, this is why they are burning out. If not, what voltage bulb are you using?

No I don't touch the glass at all..... I have replaced my stock lights many times and those don't burn out at all. I Just think these ractive toucna things are cheap. I had a set that lasted me 8 months and some only 3.

I am using the proper H4 bulbs, 55w or something like that

If you run higher wattage then what is recommended for your car your wires harness and wires will eventually melt. It happened to a few of my friends so jsut watch out for that....

ive had a set of PIAA Super Plasma bulbs in for about 3 mos now with no problems. they're really nice looking too. although, if you were quoted 200 for a set, id look elsewhere....try ebay...ive seen them for about 80 bucks

200DOLLOARS!!!! DAMN MAN where do you shop!
I paid $75 for my PIAA's at a local performance shop here. I thought that was high. I like these lights, I have had them for about 3 months now and no problems yet.
They are VERY bright with a little hint of blue. They are the Super White Lights that PIAA makes.
If you are gonna pay $200 for a set of replacements, you should go ahead and do a REAL HID system, and forget the replacements. :p

He's thinking the right thing about the PIAA's. I had a set on my 97 Civic and after 4 months, one of the bulbs burned out. So I just bought another bulb so I could run them in my MP3. It took 2 months this time and a bulb went out again. PIAA does have a warranty on their bulbs, but remember to keep you reciept. I'm gonna try to Koito bulbs or RAZO next. PIAA's by for look the best in my opinion. But yes the PIAA's sometimes can have a problem and after going through 3 sets in the past 14 months, I'd say it's upto you. Do you really want to spend the money when they could possibly burn out in a few months. I won't, but I won't know PIAA they are good.....usually :( Just my $.02 cents

Why not just keep the stock lights? They work just fine, IMHO.

As for HID, you have to have a headlight housing specifically designed for HID lights. Our's are not.

Supposedly the new Sport 20 sedan has HID headlights, you might want to look into importing them if you can. But you'll rpobably have to change out the wiring harness for your headlights to run them.
