I purchased a 2025 CX-5 Signature about 3 weeks ago. I have never been able to get my android auto to play a text message. This is wireless or wired, it will not work. Anyone I talk to on the phone also mentions a very bad echo. I had tried everything I could find online about making sure all settings were correct, volume up/down on phone/car, unpair and repair, etc. Nothing has worked. I talked to the dealer and felt slightly blown off. They stated they do not even have any updates for the 2025 and everyone tries to blame it on my Samsung phone.
So today, a friend of mine with an Apple phone as well as a 2022 Mazda CX-30 stopped by. We tried her phone in my CX-5, exact same problems. We then tried both phones in her CX-30 and they both worked well (Android auto or Apple Car play). So to me, it is clearly my CX-5.
Does anyone have any advice other than saying it's got to be my phone? It works perfectly in my F150, Bronco and her CX-30.
