Yeah, it displays and reads incoming text messages so you can continue to be "hands-free". I am not sure if you can respond—I haven't tried.I am curiious about where this is going as well. I don't think my 2025 gives the option ot texting through the Mazda software. It will read the text in a computer like tone but there is no option to respond.
I tried this last night. When I disable Bluetooth, then start Android auto the Bluetooth gets automatically activated.Is your phone connected via Bluetooth in addition to Android Auto? If it is try disabling that connection.
