performance cattalitlic converter

ive heard now that our cats steal alot of our hp. would it be worth removing both cats and getting a performance cat. Is there a reason our car has two cats?? how much would this cost??

To remove the first cat you need a header. Read my post on the Bosal header for more info and pics. The 2nd cat I would either leave or get a high flow. I am getting a high flow, will post on the performance gains.

hey NC, where you get your short throw shifter, Apexi S-AFC, and your High Flow Cat? you got any pics we can check out? how's the tripoint flywheel and ACT clutch workin' out? and how are the intake and exhaust headers working? did you modify a boscal header? if not, where did ya get it?

Guys, I don't have my car back yet It is getting all this crap put on hehe. I will have it back tomorrow. Tripoint sent the wrong pressure plate, so I am getting everything but the clutch put in. Read the "~180 HP in 2 Weeks?" post for pics of the parts off the car. I will post pics and all when I get the car back.

Yup, NC is right. I say don't bother messing with the exhaust unless you're gonna do the whole thing. Header's High flow cat and, full exhaust. If, you're gonna remove one cat, might as well remove them all right.
