Performance books?

Hi all
I have been watching the posts and have noticed people screw up, not just working on their car but on picking parts and spending big $$ I know a lot of things come with experience but I was wondering if anyone knows of a really good tuning book. I'd like to learn this stuff but want to learn from the pros (not saying people here aren't, I've seen a lot of knowledgeable and sound advice). It can be pretty technical (I'm an engineering student) but I'd like to gain a real strong working knowledge of of how turbo's, drive trains, airflow (intake exhaust) and fuel air mixtures. If anyone knows of something close to what I'm looking for I'd be stoked to learn it. And you can bet I'll stick around and ask for adivce before I work on my car, and give advice when I know what I'm talking about. Thanks all

Maxium Boost - Corky bell GET IT!!!
yes very good book
you need to read an older book to get the fundamentals down from N/A firt and then you will understand what forced induction can do to increase performance.
"how to build horsepower vol 1 "

Any other books

This book looks pretty decent but I'm looking for something that has a wider focus. I don't plan on boosting my p5 in the near future but would like to learn about modern engine control units, timing, fuel air mixtures, etc.. Thanks for your suggestions but anyone have any other suggestions?

I'm not up on this book, but I have two other EFI books by the author, Charles O. Probst, and if this book is like my other two, I'm going to order it.

Thanks for the info
