Perf Mods for Newbs

I purchased a MS6 two months ago. Thus far, I'm having a blast with the car (with the exception of trying to learn the clutch. This is the first manual I've owned and I'm struggling. And no, I haven't done the clutch adjustment. I'm still trying to convince myself that I wont totally fubar my clutch by doing it).

I started reading this forum about a month ago and can't stop thinking about moding my car (I guess moding's contagious). I know almost nothing about moding a car. I'm looking for suggestions about simple perf mods that will have limited effect on car duarability and warranty.

From what I can tell, it appears a CAI would be a good start? From my research, it looks like it can expect around 14bhp and a slightly louder turbo and BOV? If I was to follow the CAI with a second mod, what would make sense?

Thanks for the help. It's weird, two months ago, I would have never imagined moding the car. But, here I am, asking for help.

well the next mod will not give you any power but it is very important since your car is turbo. you need a boost gauge.

cai, cat back, and a boost gauge<<<those are my 'basic' plans. after that im gettin a lot of suspension bracing and cobb accesport. seems like a good path for autox for me. just thought i'd throw it in there.
