Pause Button on head unit not working (non bose)

I'm new to the forum. I just bought a MS3 2 months ago. I have a few questions. The pause button on the head unit doesn't work on the cd, every other button works, any suggestions? When the Auto climate control button is on the A/C runs? normal? I upgraded cold air, HID's and want to do an exhaust and short throw, anyone have any suggestions for quality parts. Car is great so far.

I don't know about the pause button as I ripped the stock HU out shortly after buying my car.

The AC light will come on when auto climate control is on. The system with automatically start and stop the compressor as conditioned air is needed.

Your AC will also run at all times when you are in defrost mode.

As for quality parts, speak to some of our forum vendors. I'm sure a couple will chime in.

I've had good luck with Cobb parts (short intake and access port).
I'm currently running a full turbo back exhaust made by CP-E. Also a quality piece.
I am running an AWR rear motor mount and it has been solid so far with no issues.
I am running a TWM short shifter and am starting to have issues popping out of second gear. I am not sure if this is related to the short shifter though and have yet to diagnose (car is parked awaiting a visit to Mazda on days off).

not sure about this issue with the pause button, however, as for quality parts, you could look in the Mazdaspeed accessory parts (Intake, Exhaust, Coil-overs). Also, Cobb Tuning has very nice stuff. I have a Cobb Turbo Inlet Pipe, and Cobb front and rear sway bars.
