I just got a used p5 and the stereo works fine. All speakers come on when the radio is on, and I've tested the balance and fade too. All speakers works fine but when I use the CD player, still waiting for the auxmod to come, only the speakers on the driver side comes on. all of the speakers on the passenger side stay quite??? I have the mazda stock HU and I thought the audio output to the speakers are the same for the radio and cd? Any help or suggestion other than take it to the dealership since the warranty is up?

-I've tried searching the forum but no one seems to have this problem before. Let me know.

If it does this with multiple CDs then it may be that the CD player module isn't seated properly. Take it apart and put it back together again and hope for the best. If that isn't it, I don't know what to tell you. This is the first of any such issue I have heard about.

Just got done fixing the speakers. It seems the previous owner put in an after market stereo, they must of put the stock HU back before selling the car, and decided to cut the wire really close to the factory harness so it pops out when i drive. The weird thing now is the button to change the heating unit will not change from ventilated to circulated air. Not a big deal.
