Passenger side mirror orientation?

Which of these is closer to the stock passenger side mirror orientation for a 2003 P5? Note the seam running through the black plastic and the nub on the side of the car - those should be your points of reference.

This is more or less a mirror image of how the driver side mirror is oriented.

This is how my car came back after a little repair work (some asshat sideswiped me, but that's another story).

Is it even possible to screw up the orientation of the mirror "breakaway" lock points?

The passenger mirrors on all proteges are slightly cocked and do not match the driver side. Back when I first bought my car I noticed the difference and thought there was something wrong. After some quick research(looking at the other proteges at the dealer) I realized they are all like that. I assume its a visibility thing. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the response - you saved me from calling the repair shop and making a fool of myself.
