Passenger lumbar support - any ideas?

Driver's seat lumbar support is adequate, but sure wish the passenger seat had some lumbar support as well. Anyone modified the manual seat to add lumbar support? Any ideas? (scratch)

I know on a touring model driver's seat you can unzip the back of the seat cover to gain access to the lumbar support mechanism and add padding to make it more pronounced. I imagine you can do something similar to the power lumbar support on the GT. As for the passenger seat, open it up and see what's in there. it's possible you might be able to bulk up the static support bar, assuming the construction is similar to the driver's side seat.

You can add an aftermarket lumbar kit. They make mechanical and inflatable kits that can work on nearly any type of seat. The downside is that it is aftermarket so you will have to drill/mount an external switch somewhere in the car or on the seat for the control.

Or if cost is no object, then import a power driver's seat from Japan since they are right hand drive!

About the lumbar support. Mine it just broke and it was repaired(the whole back mechanism, it was replaced - $945 !) by the dealer.
I have got a GT as a loner for the weekend. I have noticed, that the lumbar support is more pronounced in my 14' Touring, then on the new GT(not sure, which one it was though, 2016 or 2016.5/no LED headlight).
Most likely, the easiest and cheapest, is to just add some extra padding.
I have lower back issues, so it's important for me, to have a good lumbar support.

Thanks everyone. I'll probably open up the driver's seat and add padding to the lumbar bar. For the passenger seat, I think I'll open it up and see what there is to work with. I'll report back if I find anything interesting.
