Pann Auto FMIC

Ok just to clarify some issues on the FMIC kit from Pannauto. #1 The bumper support is still there it just wasn't on in the picture. #2 yes this is my car and I drive 120 or more a day and the car is running strong. #3 Originally the pipes were going to be powdercoated but now they will be Aluminum. I will be powdercoating mine in laser blue. Also they didn't add the BOV because everybody wants something different some want the dual set-up while others just want to open vent. They can add the flange per your request in any location. #4 My car was stock except for their SRI and a manual boost controller set at roughly 8 1/2lbs. The setting was the same on the baseline and after the FMIC. #5 The SRI they fabricated is in process to get approved by injen and become an injen intake however it is still in the works.
Sorry this was so long but I wanted everybody to get the same information. I work in huntington beach so if anybody is in the area and would like to take a look or go for a spin just PM me.

Thanks everyone.

Has anyone emailed me to see if they just removed it for the install? Also, was the car stock except for their FMIC? That dyno graph is beautiful.
yea it would be beautiful if it wasn't bulls***, don't believe everything you read.

10lbsmocc<SCRIPT type=text/javascript> vbmenu_register("postmenu_909442", true); </SCRIPT> - not to fuel the fire here (so please don't take the following facts as bashing or anything - that is not the intention), but the reason why the comment was made by mp5jeff could be due to the information here -> http://www.pannauto.com/ver02/popups_miscpages/mazdaspeed_intercoolerkit.htm is somewhat misleading.

Probably for the following reasons:
(a) The dynographs are not corrected with a SAE factor.
(b) The link does not state that the test car was equipped with a SRI or a MBC set @ 8.5psi [for both baseline & post run results]
(c) Since the car was not stock, and the link didn't mention any further specifics, this would be somewhat misleading. The "gains" would not be representative to those yielded on a stock vehicle since every psi over the stock boost levels would now yield a different result vs. a stock car.

pann auto is so full of crap with there dyno. One of the guys told me that an msp without a second cat dynoed 40 hp higher, funny thing is I know the guy who dynoed his car there and they never did a baseline for his car with 2 cats.

well I can see where you would assume that, I just figured most people had read the other thread where I told everyone what mods were done. Unfortunatly we didn't have a chance to do stock #s because I didn't want to wait and unless you talk to the people directly involved with the mazdaspeed project then just like everything it is hearsay i.e. randy's cat removal. The whole point was to put out another product for the mazdaspeed and to try and create a better image for the aftermarket community. What I can't believe is that an aftermarket company continues to go through the threads and bash on everything that is under there mighty superior godly products. I apologize for not putting out all the info in stock and modified conditions, I don't work for Pannauto I just wanted to help put out a good product for people like myself.

Sorry if my comments came off as they were directed to you. I assure you they are not and we appreciate you going the extra mile and working to get another product out for the car. It's just that I got burned by pann pretty bad so it left a kind of bitter taste if you know what i mean.

Notorious,
Hey man no harm, No shop is perfect believe me I know. Its not other peoples opinions that bother me its when a vendor or company piss on everything that isn't there own, its bad business practice and causes a loss of respect from possible consumers. I know this because I work in the car business but I don't call chevy and dodge to tell them how my product is better than theirs. I mean why would Ion even respond in this thread? are they interested in buying a FMIC from Pannauto hmmm...makes ya wonder.
