I have stock 5 spokes on my 04 hatch. I'm looking to repaint them since the paint thats on them is wearing off. I wanna do like a little bit darker than the stock silver-ish. Opinions? Oh, and any tips/suggestions on how to paint my rims the right way?

have they been painted before? and i know that High temp engine paint works very well! thats sold at pep boys or kragen. I used the high temp spray paint and scuff pads and primered them and they came out perfect heres a picture. For painting the right way basicly light, even coats and take your time!

Yeah. Never heard of a Kragen.
Most auto shops have high heat resistant paint.
I used engine enamel on mine and they came out well.

In agreement with the last few posters here. Sand, primer, high heat engine enamel. Gives you a chance to get rid of some curb rash if theres any too. As for colors you didn't tell us the color of your CAR! Anyways black is nice like above if your car goes with it. I'm preferable to something like a gunmetal gray for a few reasons. It tends to go well with a lot of different color cars and like the black break dust doesn't show up as much. Hope this helps!

Alright, I have a black hatchback. And no they haven't been painted before. What about using the Duplicolor rim paints?
