Painted badges vs. shaved

I'll post a pict soon, I masked off the red 5 and painted them all black...Looks freaking hot, IMO.....it is my car so everything looks good to me...

Touch up any "connector" pieces between letters with body-color matched touch up paint so the letters stand out better.

Wow I never thought about that, I'm definitely going to do that if I decide to keep my black/red protege5 badge. I forgot that the Mazda touchup paint was brush-on.

Maybe I'll just slather a huge Protegegarage decal across the side, like bus style, get the little perforated stickers so that I can see through the windows.

you better be kidding, ricering up anothe Protege (85% of proteges are ricers sorry guys) makes the sleeper 323s and lightly modded 323 owners look bad.
Vynal and decals? Wow that sticker really gets you 5hp. 5 hp for every sticker! Wow you protege owners really know how to rice it up. (alot of people who poste dpics in this thread and in thir sigs) And you guys with decent Proteges know what i'm talking about. That's like a mexican comming in a court case against racial profiling with a taco bell bag. If you don't want the steriotype, then stop filling it. It's bad enough that a non-mazdaspeed proto gets 100hp on FWD. And that Mazdaspeed editions make a whopping -gasp- 170 hp on FWD in-line 4. Yeah with the right mods it's cool, huge ass bumpers (msp looks fine) and spoilers and graphics aren't. Ricer lovers.

(and if you deny that most proteges are ricers, then someone got really attatched to their protege. Denile isn't just a river in Africa)

Uhm.. sorry? I'm completely ok with my 100hp. This isn't a track car for me (yet), but it sure does make getting from point A to B damn fun. You should know that Mazda isn't about horsepower.. it's about zoom-zoom.. fun driving great handling zoom-zoom. I'm sorry if doing any sort of cosmetic mods is a sin to you.

ahh sorry, I wwas really leashing out at civics, an a 100hp FWD hatchback kinda was the closest thing to lash out at. (and yeah a friend of mine on this site has an atitude geared towards, a different lug nut= ricer, you should see his sleeper [ his name is Prodigy ])
also this forum's sarcasm is harder to tell from rx7club sarcasm. and handling hp/weight ratio is superb on all Mazdas

took me forever to find one with less than 94k miles. i've owned it for about a month. (bought it Jan 14th but got it Feb 4th) It had to come from California and if you passed the states and cities test California to Georgia is a long ways away. It's my first car.

I dont know what you consider rice, but the only cosmetic mods I have on my car are smoked tail and fog lights (helps protect against rock chips), and my CF hood that I only got because I was able to buy it for $100.

I can get away with immaturity, I'm 16 haha. And honestly, I really don't care if I get banned. I was sent a link to this site, and all I saw was "Mazda forums" I didn't realize I had joined a protege centered and (all other mazdas on the side) site. It kinda pissed me off, because the rotary threads had 3 members viewing yesterday, which means I have no one to relate to. I'm already on Rx7club.com which is nicer in some ways and worse in some ways. Also, I beleive I said "some of you have decent proteges" and I only quoted you because you said decals. Now it shouldn't of applied to you if you A)don't have decals or B) you are actually scared, that you have riced your car over. So it shouldn't of offended you. So how about you stop being the immature on and just let it go? Or better yet, stop being the jackass yourself and respond calmly, now if you posted pics and of your car and I said "haha what a ricer" you could call me whatever you want. I normally think that in myhead and don't do personal attacks, but rather insaulted all ricers in general.

P.S. when you get the money, paint that CF hood.
and if your talking about Chris as in PRODIGY, I got my hate of ricers from him, he says almost everyone on this site wastes money on pointless no HP ricer stuff (but once you've bought it it's ok, unless it SCREAMS modified), he us just too quiet and nice to say it to your faces, and I'm sure he doesn't want to get banned where as I don't care. I'm not saying he says it about you specifically, you're right he IS nice, I don't know why he hangs out with me, but we share a class and he's comming over today to take a look at the car. OR If you were reffering to Chris as in ZVERG guessing from his user title his name is Chris, I don't know him, he just seems nice because he saw past my post's attack and delt with it well (unlike let's say.....you).OR If you're reffereing to Chris as in me (I don't know why you would) but I'm not schitzophrenic. Hope I cleared up anyhting about why who hangs out with whom.
EDIT: you forgot titanium front lip and sideskirts of some sort, those didn't look stock. Rims I'm fine with though.

I think my response was pretty calm, lol. The titanium lip was on for a day just cause I was bored, it has yet to be painted, and the sideskirts are stock. You dont seem like a bad guy, I just dont like it when people insult me for no reason, espesially when I was clearly making a joke (I said the stickers like you see on the sides of busses!)

Be careful with that rex kid, those things are fun but I think a TII is way too much car for a 16 year old. I dont want to see another mazda funeral in GA, ya know?

Eh, there's quite a few show-oriented cars on the forum that I dont pay that much attention to but the majority of the people on this forum stay clear of rice. You'll see that much of the lame aesthetic mods that you see getting love from the honda community won't last long here, in fact, we despise of it as much we can.

I dont feel that anarchistchiken's p5 is rice due to the fact that it lacks vinyl of unsponsored logos along the side, spoilers, ugly wings west body kits, red tint, orange wheels, m3 mirrors, neon, altezza lights, or a lime green paint job.

His car isn't all that different from the state that mine is in. He just has a CF hood + motor mount + a couple other little things. It's just my personal opinion is that a carbon fiber hood looks best painted. It's not rice because it's a performance mod(less weight). Hey, no paint = lesser weight! haha (first)

Now, I can park in reverse. That was probally the third time EVER that I had ever tried parking in reverse, Miller. Hell, I can even do my "ricer e-brake dreeft" into a parking spot backwards every time now. It's those little things that you never practice that get to you when you first start out driving. heh

And your clutch is nowhere near as sensitive as the one on my protege, Chris.

Chris you'll be happy to know that the hood is being painted before the summer, along with my MSP lip and front bumper (big rock messed it up). And I'm sure you can park, I'm just givin ya s***.
