I have looked in a few auto stores, retail stores, internet stores, and can't seem to find touch-up paint in the color of Vivid Yellow. I have a few chips here and there on my P5, and I would like to get it taken care of before the elements get under the paint. Anyone have any suggestions or links to some touch-up paint?

lol... Well I guess it is looking that way isn't it. I guess I have to find me a dealership now. Not one in my area. Appreciate the help...

wait, before u do, here's wut i did, i went to canadian tire, and i got a silver paint from duplicolor, its called sunbeam silver (beam, light, figured its the same) and applied it, it stands out, but when u buy a clearcoat, and spray it over, it evens out and the color matches exactly. my point?

duplicolor offers colors that very closely match to factory color, (on my can it said 'mazda sunbeam silver' and it matched. so before u go to dealership, check out wut duplicolor has to offer, wut colors, maybe it'll help

Yeah that was the idea in the first place. Problem is with duplicolor(if I am thinking right it is the small tubes of touch up paint you canbuy at stores) I can't find any type of yellow. There is literally no yellow at all. It's insane. I even checked the spray which I do not intend to use, but they dont even have yellow in the spray form. kinda odd if you ask me. Of course now that I notice, my car is the only bright yellow one in my area. Great way to stand out for the cops. LOL. Thanks.

If you want to go with the dealer, talk to Ken from protegegarage.com. He can probably get it for you cheaper.

get yer paint code off the door and go online. ken or mazdastuff has em fer like five bucks or something.

Get your paint code from the door sill and go to any automotive paint store and they can mix it right there. I
ve done it several times. Buy a pint of factory paint and have it put into spray cans.

I actually just went to my local mazda dealer today to get some. a little bottle of color code HZ for my 02 P5 (yellow) was only $4.99 Canadian after tax (shocked)

I got the touch up pen from Mazda 13.00 with tax canadian about, i find it's easier to use especially if you have shaky hands, and it has that clear seal stuff on the other side of the pen.
