Just curious about what you guys think of my 89 CRX Si. I know its not a P5, but im a P5 owner trying to rid of this car to get some extra cash. You guys think i can get at least blue book from it? (which is $2800) Heres the link to the website with the information and pics, and dont call me unless your buying the car. :p

1989 CRX Si

I'll fly out to Arizona this weekend if you're willing to part with it for $1500. Just want to make sure it will make the drive back to Los Angeles.

$1500? hrmm, its worth 2800 blue book, hehe, no thanks. its worth way more then $1500, at the least $2500. its got nothing wrong with it.

Well, you know who to get a hold of if you change your mind. I've seen 91 Si's with about the same mileage go for $2,000.

i would personally go no higher than $2000. I'd love to pick it up - it'd make a nice yellow companion for the yello p5 in my driveway :D

give it to captain krm for 2k. that way we can afford the ticket there and the drive back ;-)

That's worth more than the going rate for a CRX si because it hasn't had the Fast and Furious treatment. It's a clean, rust free example. The only thing it has going bad for it is the "school bus" yellow color.

$3,100 is too high. $2,500 seems like a good price though. If you were closer, I'd buy it.

Sorry but you need to post that car on Autotrader, Could EASILY pull 3500 for that car. Super Clean, Very Low Mileage and looks very well cared for.

To all those people who said good luck selling it at Blue book Value......Ha!

Don't forget the CRX has a Solid Cult Following....

A Crx in that Condition can easily be sold for much Higher then Blue book. They have been Selling in the 3000-5000 Dollar Range for the past 5 years. Good Luck getting that when your P5 is that old :p

Good Luck on the Sale....I will ask around I may know someone interested, Are you willing to ship???

Cheers,
Mike

Red99Xtreme, your damn right. :) I paid $4300 for it a little over a year ago because i wanted something stock and that wasnt a pos with a shitload of miles on it. its got nothing wrong with it at all, and as for it having no AC, AC doesnt even work half the time once you put a B16 in it. It might work, but its too much trouble, and who cares about AC when your going for speed? All i know is, its worth at the LEAST $2500, at the most id say $3200. It all depends on how bad the person wants the car. All this car needs is a new paint job, a B16, and your already hauling ass. CRX's are awesome. Oh, and as for shipping, nah. Come get it. :)

Thats a beautiful example of a unmolested CRX. I have been looking for a stock CRX for a long time but waiting for a 90, 91 (more attractive rear end and nicer wheels). You're crazy for asking $2500, thats WAY too cheap!!! Although some people may be turned off by no a/c, the 85k miles clears that right up. I agree with Red99Xtreme, thats a great, clean car, and you could easily pull in more than $2500!!! I'd wish you good luck getting rid of it but you won't need it.

yeah, if i didnt live in such a hot ass state like AZ, it wouldnt be hard at all to sale. but since people literally NEED AC, its kinda hard to sale for over blue book of $2800. Im taking $2500 lowest, if only i didnt live in AZ.... :(

I've owned two 89-90 CRX's and I ran them into the ground. Great sporty quick little cars. My last one had 185,000 when I sold it to my neighbor for $1200 and he still drives it now. That was over 3yrs ago! Good luck selling any car nowadays. I've got a 72 VW bug I've had in the trader twice in the last 2 and 1/2 years. Damn thing is stuck down into my front swale its sat there so long.:wtf:

Great lookin Rex man. Fair price considering it is all stock and not tampered with. I am on my 2nd CRX now. Love them to death. That's why the MSP is going and CRX is staying. You should have some luck on AutoTrader or even Ebay. I have seen some clunkers go for 3K. Let us know how things turn out...Later,

that would be nice to do a JDM conversion.

put some backseats n there and the back/front bumper and it'll be pimp as hell.

good luck on sales thought i think you would have more success with autotrader.com

yeah, i definitely got a buyer today. a guy looking for a crx exactly like mine. he wanted a cheap reliable car with good gas mileage. he said hes going to buy it, but hes gonna give me a figure later on this week, he better hurry before someone hawks it. :D

he said if he buys it hes going to put a AC unit into it. which is a smart idea. btw, it is on autotrader, heres the link:

Link on Autotrader.com (not sure if its gonna stay working..)
