P5 Hub Diameter/ Rings

Hi,

I did a quick search and I couldn't find what the outer diameter of the P5 hub is.

The reason I ask this is that one of my hub centric rings for my Konig Holes rims snapped. The size shown on the rings that came with my rims is 67.06 inner, 73.0 outer. But this seemed wayyy too tight on the hub, which is how I snapped one of my rings.

Anyway, if anyone could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, also, where would you recommend buying another set? I looked at 1010 tires and they have a set of 4 for $25 (plastic) or $35 (aluminum).

I feel like an idiot for asking, but what is a hub-centric ring? I hear it mentioned all the time on the board, but could never figure out what it is. Don't our rims line up with the wheel studs just like every other car?

Yes, they are way too tight. I guess that's "normal." Your numbers look right. The only thing I can recommend is to maybe sand the rings a bit on the inside so that they are not so tight or use some graphite grease, which by the way is nasty to get off.

I would look on eBay and I think plastic rings are best to work with.

Basically a hub ring makes up the difference in the diameter of the hub and the bore of the wheel (if the wheel is aftermarket and has a larger bore).
