p5 Header alone

What will my car sound like with just the installation of my OBX header cuz all i got so far got new for a pretty good deal. Will i feel any difference performance. Im gonna get the Greddy Evo2 exhaust for my car and an SRI WeaponR intake. And later on a hiboost kit.

The primary cat is the most restrictive part of our exhaust sytems--you should get a noticeable gain replacing it with the header. I don't know what it will sound like, maybe just a little louder? Let us know when you get it on!

Well hiboost kit will get rid of the header but get an intake and exhaust too or there's no point.

Boost could be conceivably very far off for some people. A header is what... $250-300 or so? That's a bit of a drop in the pan when compared to the cost of going turbocharged.

I say throw the header on to tide yourself over for the time-being. Who knows how long it'll be before you can afford to go turbocharged.

Yea i know i got my header for 175 so i figured go for it why not its cheap and the turbo i should have this winter ready for next spring

Header was my first P5 mod and yes you will feel a difference. With stock exhaust it will not be loud.

I have just the header on stock exhaust - not much louder. Nice bump in performance coupled with UDP.
