p5 doesnt start when hot

i noticed about 2 out of 5 days of the week at school, when my cars been sitting outside all day, it wont start at first. i turn the key for a few seconds, i just hear the starter. i stop, try it again and it starts right up. whats up with that?!

did you have sparco wire??

try to switch back to stock and see if the problem cond't

Mines been doing that too.. Its almost like you have to hold it when your turning it to make it turn over... I've wondered about this.... makes me think my starters going or something.

mine dont do that but when i start the engine with my foot on the clutch to the floor it sounds like the starter is still a lil engage w/ the flywheel rite after the crack turned over....damn! wuts up with mazda?

Yup. Mine has been doing the same thing. And I only have 2500 miles on the car!!!! It's kinda sad, but I'm starting to regret buying this car. Not to the point where I hate it, but just the little things are starting to bother me (ie: Very thin paint, I already have numerous chips on my hood, and I only have 2500 miles!!!).
