Our new (Basenji) Family member

Well we got our puppy yesterday after waiting 10 weeks from her birth. The Breeder was the best breeder I have ever worked with. We are taking her back in 4 months to get her AKC Registration # tattooed on her & the breeder is going to spay her at her expense.

Our other Basenji, Kenji, still doesnt know what to think. Thery have already started to play but he is still very cautios of her. He doesnt like when the pup gets close whenever he is in my arms because he is "daddy's baby" and doesnt like to share lol

Other than that everything has gone well so far. She only woke up once in the middle of the night to go potty but other than that she stayed asleep the whole night...

My favorite is the bassit hound puppy.. when they start to walk they trip over thier HUGE ears.

We use to have one back in the day.. but he got out and got hit by a car .
That was the only down fall to them is they don't listen at all.. you'd think with those big o ears they would but nope..

Savanna is so beautiful. I dated a guy that had a Basinji. His name was Lester and I loved him to death (dog not guy). Never barked (which was perfect). They are so masculine looking but still beautiful like a deer. I want one so bad. Congratulations proud daddy! Savanna is gorgeous and Kenji is handsome as well.
