Konspiracy,

actually, Rob. would be more qualified to give you an estimate. probably depending on the work you want done.

AND... i had a 1% off coupon. WOOOOOO!!!!!!

honestly, i am stoked about how it came out. You can't put a price on quality like that.
And Rob. will work with you and discuss what can and can't be done. in my case, his suggestions were very helpful.
Just go see him. Quality work............ Friendly service......... Local kine aloha........ just go!!!

kden.

You might have to fix my car, someone hit it already...

Fucken idiots.

damn didn't I just see you the other week. That sucks sorry to hear. You wouldn't be parting out by any chance. Just kidding :)

Ohh yea. I still need to straighten out the front of my car

call me up. let's see what we can do.

PM's sent.

Butlerg, just outta curiosity, how come you wanna swap out the drop springs? going back to stock? or do you have bigger plans?....like a set of tein coilovers?(alright)

Well, I more or less have concerns over everything from the stiffer/shorter springs prematurely wearing out the stock struts (which I don't have the $$ to replace them all), to safety checks, to warranty not covering the suspension, and to me living out on the North Shore, where the roads aren't exactly smooth and paved. ha

oh i see.
true dat. the roads out in the north shore are screwed. i remember driving my P5 through there and I had to swerve all over the road to avoid potholes.

You never mentioned where we can check you out at.
I don't know you, but it sounds like I should!!!
Good luck with your shop, and hope to meet you soon.....

Rob is da man. Definently worth checking out. He's located in Kapaa Query better known as dump road in Kailua. Ill give him a shout about posting his business address and phone number. "SHOUT"

my bad. but yeah like thomas said, i'm located in kailua. i live here. and i work here.

i'm pretty much available whenevers. just give me a heads up. i'm flexible. i can work around your schedule. i try to get things done a.s.a.p. as best as i can. weekends are you're absolute best bet. but you never know.

so far i think i've been doing a pretty good job. everybody who came to me left happy...and can vouch for the things i do.

but yeah, if you needed something done, gimme a holler.

I wish i had the equipment and space to do it to cuz i took the motor to the shop and there charging me $1450+ to put the other motor in... And i have to wait till after new years to tow my car there. Then have to wait idk how long to get it back... But wth i just want it on the road again cuz public transportations sucks.

Heres the break down.
Timing Belt Kit
$282.32
Thermostat
$13.44
Thermostat Gasket
$2.24
Water Pump
$94.73
Throttle Body Gasket
$7.00
Coolant
$14.00
Oil Flush/Change
$25.00
Labor 14.8hrs@$65
$962.00
Tax
$66.00
Total:
$1466.73

And im just gonna guess they going tack on atleast another $400 for misc. s***. Damn i would feel better if it were cheaper and if i was paying a friend instead.
And i didn't get the second motor cuz i don't have anywhere to put it. Which sucks cuz im sure i could do the rebuild myself with some good sockets and air tools. Ohh yea... I don't have Dave's number

Ohh and when i do get this damn thing running again i going come see you to install/paint my rear lip :) And i need to repair my front lip cuz the darn tow truck scratched the bejesus out of it.
