Damn, there are several AP's up for sale and with the mods I'm about to purchase, the rims, and last weekends Anniversary I am tapped out. I'm trying to work out a deal for one of the AP's but doubt it will happen. So if your looking check the MS3 and MS6 for sale forums for them. I'm to depressed to link.

It's no bigge, for all I know the guy will do the samething a MS3 owner did to me a few weeks ago with his AP he was going to sell me.

everything is fluid at this point. for that deal to be a go, I'd have to have the cash, want that set of wheels/tires (have a line on 2 sets now), and be able to arrange a meeting time with both buyer and seller...

Very true, problem is the guy with the AP gave me his addy for paypal, had I not checked to make sure I had the right one, I would have paid him for something he already sold to someone else. Total Asshat!

ouch... I've had a few parts disappear like that. local asshat offered me his MAM mani for 200 and my stocker... then pulled the deal when he realized it was worth like 4x that. lol

Go for it if you want it, I doubt it'll fit my budget at present. I'll more that not have to wait a few weeks until funds replenish the get one. They seem to be going up on a regularish basis and selling for at most $500. Apparently one of the other Chicago MS3's sold his cheap, but didn't put it here first, he just threw it up in the MS3 for sale section. I appreciate David giving us a heads up on it.

I was under the impession AP's are not compatable w/ other cars. As in MS3 w/ a MS6 or an RX8. Could be wrong I guess

I was informed the AP for MS3 & MS6 are the same, the RX8 is not compatible with the 3&6. Ken could confirm this I don't feel like looking it up this morning.

Yes. APs are interchangeable for the MS3/MS6 only.

The two share an engine, so the ECU should be the same. Since the AP is communicating with the ECU it follows that the AP would work with both. Just make sure that you get the right maps from cobb before you install it. I don't think the MS3 and MS6 maps are the same. Also make sure that the person you get it from has un-married it from his car. If mnot the AP will be worthless to you, and it is expensive to send it to cobb to get it unlocked.

I'd spend more money to go to the person I bought it from and kick their ass. Then I'd send it to Cobb on with said person credit card.
