don't I wish it was that easy. Actually I figured out how to do it aesily on the last oil change. You just need a 14-16" extension and the right oli filter wrench attachment for your ratchet (sp?).

I was about to dispute your "all plastic" theory, then I remember that the piece that is in the way is.......you guessed it, PLASTIC. Makes it light FTW!
